Surah II the Cow “BAQARAH” Verses 29
هُوَ الَّذِي خَلَقَ لَكُمْ مَا فِي الْأَرْضِ جَمِيعًا ثُمَّ اسْتَوَى إِلَى السَّمَاءِ فَسَوَّاهُنَّ سَبْعَ سَمَاوَاتٍ وَهُوَ بِكُلِّ شَيْءٍ عَلِيمٌ – سوره ۲: البقرة – جزء ۱ : آیه 29
29: He it is who created for you all that is in the earth, and he directed himself to the heaven, so he made them complete seven heavens, and he knows all things.
Surah III the Family of Imran “A’LAY IMRAN” Verses 190
إِنَّ فِي خَلْقِ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ وَاخْتِلَافِ اللَّيْلِ وَالنَّهَارِ لَآيَاتٍ لِأُولِي الْأَلْبَابِ – سوره ۳: آل عمران – جزء ۴ : آیه 190
190: Most surely in the creation of the heavens and the earth in six periods ____ and his dominion “extends” on the water ____ that he might manifest to you, which of you is best in action, and if you say, surely you shall be raised up after death, those who disbelieve would certainly say: this is nothing but clear magic.
Surah XIII the Thunder “RA’D” Verses 5
وَإِنْ تَعْجَبْ فَعَجَبٌ قَوْلُهُمْ أَإِذَا كُنَّا تُرَابًا أَإِنَّا لَفِي خَلْقٍ جَدِيدٍ أُولَئِكَ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا بِرَبِّهِمْ وَأُولَئِكَ الْأَغْلَالُ فِي أَعْنَاقِهِمْ وَأُولَئِكَ أَصْحَابُ النَّارِ هُمْ فِيهَا خَالِدُونَ – سوره ۱۳: الرعد – جزء ۱۳ : آیه 5
5: And if you would wonder, then wondrous is their saying: what! When we are dust, shall we then certainly be in a new creation? These are they, who disbelieve in their lord, and these have chains on their necks, and they are the inmates of the fire; in it they shall abide.
Surah XXI the Prophets “ANBIYA” Verses 30-31
أَوَلَمْ يَرَ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا أَنَّ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضَ كَانَتَا رَتْقًا فَفَتَقْنَاهُمَا وَجَعَلْنَا مِنَ الْمَاءِ كُلَّ شَيْءٍ حَيٍّ أَفَلَا يُؤْمِنُونَ – سوره ۲۱: الأنبياء – جزء ۱۷ : آیه 30
30: Do not those who disbelieve see that the heavens and the earth were closed up, but we have opened them; and we have made of water every thing living, will they not then believe?
وَجَعَلْنَا فِي الْأَرْضِ رَوَاسِيَ أَنْ تَمِيدَ بِهِمْ وَجَعَلْنَا فِيهَا فِجَاجًا سُبُلًا لَعَلَّهُمْ يَهْتَدُونَ – سوره ۲۱: الأنبياء – جزء ۱۷ : آیه 31
31: And we have made great mountains in the earth lest it might be convulsed with them, and we have made in it wide ways that they may follow a right direction.
Surah XXII the Pilgrimage “HAJ” Verses 5
يَا أَيُّهَا النَّاسُ إِنْ كُنْتُمْ فِي رَيْبٍ مِنَ الْبَعْثِ فَإِنَّا خَلَقْنَاكُمْ مِنْ تُرَابٍ ثُمَّ مِنْ نُطْفَةٍ ثُمَّ مِنْ عَلَقَةٍ ثُمَّ مِنْ مُضْغَةٍ مُخَلَّقَةٍ وَغَيْرِ مُخَلَّقَةٍ لِنُبَيِّنَ لَكُمْ وَنُقِرُّ فِي الْأَرْحَامِ مَا نَشَاءُ إِلَى أَجَلٍ مُسَمًّى ثُمَّ نُخْرِجُكُمْ طِفْلًا ثُمَّ لِتَبْلُغُوا أَشُدَّكُمْ وَمِنْكُمْ مَنْ يُتَوَفَّى وَمِنْكُمْ مَنْ يُرَدُّ إِلَى أَرْذَلِ الْعُمُرِ لِكَيْلَا يَعْلَمَ مِنْ بَعْدِ عِلْمٍ شَيْئًا وَتَرَى الْأَرْضَ هَامِدَةً فَإِذَا أَنْزَلْنَا عَلَيْهَا الْمَاءَ اهْتَزَّتْ وَرَبَتْ وَأَنْبَتَتْ مِنْ كُلِّ زَوْجٍ بَهِيجٍ – سوره ۲۲: الحج – جزء ۱۷ : آیه 5
5: O people! if you are in doubt about the raising, then surely we created you from dust, then from a small seed, then from a clot, then from a lump of flesh, complete in make and in complete, that we may make clear to you; and we cause what we please to stay in the wombs till an appointed time, then we bring you forth as babies, then that you is he who is caused to die, and of you is he who is brought back to the worst part of life, so that after having knowledge he does not know anything; and you see the earth steril land, but when we send down on it the water, it stirs and swells and brings forth of every kind a beautiful herbage.
Surah XXIX the Spider “ANKABUT” Verses 19
أَوَلَمْ يَرَوْا كَيْفَ يُبْدِئُ اللَّهُ الْخَلْقَ ثُمَّ يُعِيدُهُ إِنَّ ذَلِكَ عَلَى اللَّهِ يَسِيرٌ – سوره ۲۹: العنكبوت – جزء ۲۰ : آیه 19
19: What! Do they not consider how Allah originates the creation, and then reproduces it? Surely that is easy to Allah.
Surah XXXI LUQMAN Verses 10
خَلَقَ السَّمَاوَاتِ بِغَيْرِ عَمَدٍ تَرَوْنَهَا وَأَلْقَى فِي الْأَرْضِ رَوَاسِيَ أَنْ تَمِيدَ بِكُمْ وَبَثَّ فِيهَا مِنْ كُلِّ دَابَّةٍ وَأَنْزَلْنَا مِنَ السَّمَاءِ مَاءً فَأَنْبَتْنَا فِيهَا مِنْ كُلِّ زَوْجٍ كَرِيمٍ – سوره ۳۱: لقمان – جزء ۲۱ : آیه 10
10: He created the heavens without pillars as you see them, and put mountains upon the earth lest it might convulse with you, and he spread in it animals of every kind; and we sent down water form the cloud, then caused to grow there in “vegetation” of every noble kind.
Surah XL the Believer “MOAMIN” Verses 57
57: Certainly the creation of the heavens and the earth is greater than the creation of the men, but most people do not know.
Surah XLI HAMIM Verses 9
9: Say: what do you in deed disbelieve in him who created the earth in two periods, and do you set up equals with him? That is the lord of the worlds.
Surah XLVI the Sand Hills “AHQAF” Verses 3
مَا خَلَقْنَا السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضَ وَمَا بَيْنَهُمَا إِلَّا بِالْحَقِّ وَأَجَلٍ مُسَمًّى وَالَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا عَمَّا أُنْذِرُوا مُعْرِضُونَ – سوره ۴۶: الأحقاف – جزء ۲۶ : آیه 3
3: We did not create the heavens and the earth and what is between them two save with truth and “for” an appointed term; and those who disbelieve turn aside from what they are warned of.
Surah L QAF Verses 38
وَلَقَدْ خَلَقْنَا السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضَ وَمَا بَيْنَهُمَا فِي سِتَّةِ أَيَّامٍ وَمَا مَسَّنَا مِنْ لُغُوبٍ – سوره ۵۰: ق – جزء ۲۶ : آیه 38
38: And certainly we created the heavens and the earth and what is between them in six periods and there touched us not any fatigue.
Surah LIV the Moon “QAMAR” Verses 49
إِنَّا كُلَّ شَيْءٍ خَلَقْنَاهُ بِقَدَرٍ – سوره ۵۴: القمر – جزء ۲۷ : آیه 49
49: Surely we have created everything according to a measure.
Surah LVII Iron “HADID” Verses 4
هُوَ الَّذِي خَلَقَ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضَ فِي سِتَّةِ أَيَّامٍ ثُمَّ اسْتَوَى عَلَى الْعَرْشِ يَعْلَمُ مَا يَلِجُ فِي الْأَرْضِ وَمَا يَخْرُجُ مِنْهَا وَمَا يَنْزِلُ مِنَ السَّمَاءِ وَمَا يَعْرُجُ فِيهَا وَهُوَ مَعَكُمْ أَيْنَ مَا كُنْتُمْ وَاللَّهُ بِمَا تَعْمَلُونَ بَصِيرٌ – سوره ۵۷: الحديد – جزء ۲۷ : آیه 4
4: He it is who created the heavens and the earth in six periods, and he is firm in power, he knows that which goes deep down into the earth and that which comes forth out of it, and that which comes down from the heaven and that which goes up into it, and he is with you wherever you are; and Allah sees what you do.
Surah LXV the Divorce “TALAQ” Verses 12
اللَّهُ الَّذِي خَلَقَ سَبْعَ سَمَاوَاتٍ وَمِنَ الْأَرْضِ مِثْلَهُنَّ يَتَنَزَّلُ الْأَمْرُ بَيْنَهُنَّ لِتَعْلَمُوا أَنَّ اللَّهَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ وَأَنَّ اللَّهَ قَدْ أَحَاطَ بِكُلِّ شَيْءٍ عِلْمًا – سوره ۶۵: الطلاق – جزء ۲۸ : آیه 12
12: Allah is he who created seven heavens, and of the earth the like of them; the decree continues to descend among them, that you may know that Allah has power over all things and that Allah indeed encompasses all things in “his” knowledge.
Surah LXXVI the Man “INSAN or DAHR” Verses 28
نَحْنُ خَلَقْنَاهُمْ وَشَدَدْنَا أَسْرَهُمْ وَإِذَا شِئْنَا بَدَّلْنَا أَمْثَالَهُمْ تَبْدِيلًا – سوره ۷۶: الإنسان – جزء ۲۹ : آیه 28
28: We created them and made firm their make, and when we please we will bring in their place the likes of them by a change.
Surah LXXVIII the Great Event “NABA” Verses 6
أَلَمْ نَجْعَلِ الْأَرْضَ مِهَادًا – سوره ۷۸: النبأ – جزء ۳۰ : آیه 6
6: Have we not made the earth an even expanse?
