Surah II the Cow “BAQARAH” Verses 83
وَإِذْ أَخَذْنَا مِيثَاقَ بَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ لَا تَعْبُدُونَ إِلَّا اللَّهَ وَبِالْوَالِدَيْنِ إِحْسَانًا وَذِي الْقُرْبَى وَالْيَتَامَى وَالْمَسَاكِينِ وَقُولُوا لِلنَّاسِ حُسْنًا وَأَقِيمُوا الصَّلَاةَ وَآتُوا الزَّكَاةَ ثُمَّ تَوَلَّيْتُمْ إِلَّا قَلِيلًا مِنْكُمْ وَأَنْتُمْ مُعْرِضُونَ – سوره ۲: البقرة – جزء ۱ : آیه 83
83: And when we made a covenant with the children of Israel: you shall not but Allah and “you shall do” good to “your” parents, and to the near of kin and to the orphans and the needy, and you shall speak to men good words and keep up prayer and pay the poor – rate. Then you turned back except a few of you and “now too” you turn aside.
Surah VI the Cattle “ANAM” Verses 151
قُلْ تَعَالَوْا أَتْلُ مَا حَرَّمَ رَبُّكُمْ عَلَيْكُمْ أَلَّا تُشْرِكُوا بِهِ شَيْئًا وَبِالْوَالِدَيْنِ إِحْسَانًا وَلَا تَقْتُلُوا أَوْلَادَكُمْ مِنْ إِمْلَاقٍ نَحْنُ نَرْزُقُكُمْ وَإِيَّاهُمْ وَلَا تَقْرَبُوا الْفَوَاحِشَ مَا ظَهَرَ مِنْهَا وَمَا بَطَنَ وَلَا تَقْتُلُوا النَّفْسَ الَّتِي حَرَّمَ اللَّهُ إِلَّا بِالْحَقِّ ذَلِكُمْ وَصَّاكُمْ بِهِ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَعْقِلُونَ – سوره ۶: الأنعام – جزء ۸ : آیه 151
151: Say: come I will recite what your lord forbidden to you ____ “remember” that you do not associate anything with him and show kindness to your parents, and do not slay your children for “fear of” poverty ____ we provide for you and them ____ and do not draw nigh to in decencies, those of them which are apparent and those which are concealed, and do not kill the soul which Allah has forbidden except for the requirements of justice; forbidden except for the requirements of justice; this he has enjoined you with that you may understand.
Surah VII the Elevated Places “ARAF” Verses 33
قُلْ إِنَّمَا حَرَّمَ رَبِّيَ الْفَوَاحِشَ مَا ظَهَرَ مِنْهَا وَمَا بَطَنَ وَالْإِثْمَ وَالْبَغْيَ بِغَيْرِ الْحَقِّ وَأَنْ تُشْرِكُوا بِاللَّهِ مَا لَمْ يُنَزِّلْ بِهِ سُلْطَانًا وَأَنْ تَقُولُوا عَلَى اللَّهِ مَا لَا تَعْلَمُونَ – سوره ۷: الأعراف – جزء ۸ : آیه 33
33: Say: my lord has only prohibited indecencies, those of them that are apparent as well as those that are concealed, and sin and rebellion without justice, and that you associate with Allah that for which he has not sent down any authority, and that you say against Allah what you do not know.
Surah XXII the Pilgrimage “HAJ” Verses 30
ذَلِكَ وَمَنْ يُعَظِّمْ حُرُمَاتِ اللَّهِ فَهُوَ خَيْرٌ لَهُ عِنْدَ رَبِّهِ وَأُحِلَّتْ لَكُمُ الْأَنْعَامُ إِلَّا مَا يُتْلَى عَلَيْكُمْ فَاجْتَنِبُوا الرِّجْسَ مِنَ الْأَوْثَانِ وَاجْتَنِبُوا قَوْلَ الزُّورِ – سوره ۲۲: الحج – جزء ۱۷ : آیه 30
30: That “shall be so”; and whoever respects the sacred ordinances of Allah; it is better for him with his lord; and the cattle are made lawful for you, except that which is recited to you, there fore avoid the uncleanness of the idols and avoid false words,
Surah XXIII the Believers “MOAMINUN” Verses 96
ادْفَعْ بِالَّتِي هِيَ أَحْسَنُ السَّيِّئَةَ نَحْنُ أَعْلَمُ بِمَا يَصِفُونَ – سوره ۲۳: المؤمنون – جزء ۱۸ : آیه 96
96: Repel evil by what is best; we know best what they describe.
Surah XXXI LUQMAN” Verses 14
وَوَصَّيْنَا الْإِنْسَانَ بِوَالِدَيْهِ حَمَلَتْهُ أُمُّهُ وَهْنًا عَلَى وَهْنٍ وَفِصَالُهُ فِي عَامَيْنِ أَنِ اشْكُرْ لِي وَلِوَالِدَيْكَ إِلَيَّ الْمَصِيرُ – سوره ۳۱: لقمان – جزء ۲۱ : آیه 14
14: And if an interference of the shaitan should cause you mischief, seek refuge in Allah; surely he is the hearing, the knowing.
Surah XLII the Counsel “SHURA” Verses 36
فَمَا أُوتِيتُمْ مِنْ شَيْءٍ فَمَتَاعُ الْحَيَاةِ الدُّنْيَا وَمَا عِنْدَ اللَّهِ خَيْرٌ وَأَبْقَى لِلَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَعَلَى رَبِّهِمْ يَتَوَكَّلُونَ – سوره ۴۲: الشورى – جزء ۲۵ : آیه 36
36: So what ever thing you are given, that is only a provision of this world’s life, and what is with Allah is better and more lasting for those who believe and rely on their lord.
Surah XLIX the Chambers “HUJUEAT” Verses 9
9: And if two parties of the believers quarrel, make peace between them; but if one of them acts wrongfully towards the other, fight that which acts wrongfully until it return to Allah’s command; then if it returns, make peace between them with justice and act equitably; surely Allah loves those who act equitably.
Surah LVIII the Pleading One “MUJADILAH” Verses 9
يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا إِذَا تَنَاجَيْتُمْ فَلَا تَتَنَاجَوْا بِالْإِثْمِ وَالْعُدْوَانِ وَمَعْصِيَتِ الرَّسُولِ وَتَنَاجَوْا بِالْبِرِّ وَالتَّقْوَى وَاتَّقُوا اللَّهَ الَّذِي إِلَيْهِ تُحْشَرُونَ – سوره ۵۸: المجادلة – جزء ۲۸ : آیه 9
9: O you who believe! When you confer together in private, do not give to each other counsel of sin and revolt and disobedience to the apostle, and give to each other counsel of goodness and guarding “against evil”; and be careful of “your duty to” Allah, to whom you shall be gathered to go ther.
Surah LXXIV the clothed one “MUDDASSIR” Verses 3
وَرَبَّكَ فَكَبِّرْ – سوره ۷۴: المدثر – جزء ۲۹ : آیه 3
3: And your lord do magnify,
