Surah II the Cow “BAQARAH” Verses 164

164: Most surely in the creation of the heavens and the earth and the alternation of the night and the day, and the ships that run in the sea with that which profits men, and the water that Allah sends down from the cloud, then gives life with it to the earth after its death and spreads in it all “kinds” of animals, and the changing of the winds and the clouds made subservient between the heaven and the earth, there are signs for a people who understand.

Surah VII the Elevated Places “ARAF” Verses 57

57: And he it is who sends forth the winds bearing good news before his mercy, until, when they bring up a laden cloud, we drive it to a dead land, then we send down water on it, then bring forth with it of fruits of all kinds; thus shall we bring forth the dead that you may be mindful.

Surah XIII the Thunder “RA’D” Verses 12

12: He it is who shows you the lightning causing fear and hope and “who” brings up the heavy cloud.

Surah XXIV the Light “NUR” Verses 40

40: Or like utter darkness in the deep sea: there covers it a wave above which is another wave, above which is a cloud, “layers of” utter darkness one above another; when he holds out his hand, he is almost unable to see it; and to whom so ever Allah does not give light, he has no light.

Surah XXVII the Ant “NAML” Verses 88

88: And you see the mountains, you think them to be solid, and they shall pass away as the passing away of the cloud _____ the handiwork of Allah who has made every thing thoroughly; surely he is aware of what you do.

Surah XXX the Romans “RUM” Verses 48

48: Allah is he who sends forth the winds so they raise a cloud, and then he spreads it forth in the sky as he pleases, and he breaks it up so that you see the rain coming forth from inside it; then when he causes it to fall upon whom he pleases of his servants, lo! They are joyful.

Surah XXXV the Originator “FATIR” Verses 9

9: And Allah is he who sends the winds so they raise a cloud, then we drive it on to a dead country, and there with we give life to the earth after its death; even so is the quickening.

Surah LII the Mountain “TUR” Verses 44

44: And if they should see a portion of the heaven coming down, they would say: piled up clouds.
