Surah II the Cow “BAQARAH” Verses 164

164: Most surely in the creation of the heavens and the earth and the alternation of the night and the day, and the ships that run in sea with that which profits men? And the water that Allah sends down from the cloud, then gives life with it to the earth after its death and spreads in it all “kinds of” animals, and the changing of the winds and the clouds made subservient between the heaven and the earth, there are signs for a people who understand.

Surah III the Family of Imran “A’LAY IMRAN” Verses 117

117: The likeness of what they spend in the life of this world is as likeness of wind in which is intense cold “that” smites the seed produce of a people who have done injustice to their souls and destroys it; and Allah is not unjust to them, but they are unjust to themselves.

Surah VII the Elevated Places “ARAF” Verses 57

57: And he it is who sends forth the winds bearing good news before his mercy, until, when they bring up a laden cloud, we drive it to a dead land, then we send down water on it, then bring forth with it of fruits of all kinds; thus shall we bring forth the dead that you may be mindful.

22: He it is who makes you travel by land and sea; until when you are in the ships, and they sail on with them in a pleasant breeze, and they rejoice, a violent wind overtakes them and the billows surge in on them from all sides, and they become certain that they are encompassed about, they pray to Allah, being sincere to him in obedience: if thou dost deliver us from this, we will most certainly be of the grateful ones.

Surah XIV IBRAHIM Verses 18

18: The parable of those who disbelieve in their lord: their action are like ashes on which the wind blows hard on a stormy day: they shall not have power over any thing out of what they have earned; this is the great error.

22: And we send the winds fertilizing. Then neither send down water from the cloud so we give it to you to drink of, nor is it you who store it up.

69: Or, do you feel secure that he will “not” take you back into it another time. Then send on you a fierce gale and thus drown you on account of your ungrateful ness? Then you shall not find any aider against us in the matter.

9: And Allah is he who sends the winds so they raise a cloud, then we drive it on to a dead country, and there with we give life to the earth after its death; even so is the quickening.

24: So when they saw it as a cloud appearing in the sky advancing to wards their valleys, they said: this is a cloud which will give us rain, Nay! It is what you saugh to hasten on, a blast of wind in which is a painful punishment.

19: Surely we sent on them a tornado in a day of bitter ill – luck.

6: And as to Ad, they were destroyed by a roaring, violent blast.
