Surah II the Cow “BAQARAH” Verses 83

83: And when we made covenant with the children of Israel; you shall not serve any but Allah and “you shall do” good to “your” parents, and to the near of kin and to the orphans and the needy, and you shall speak to men good words and keep up prayer and pay the poor – rate. Then you turned back except a few of you and “now too” you turn aside.

7: Men shall have a portion of what the parents and the near relatives leave, and women shall have a portion of what the parents and the near relatives leave, whether there is little or much of it; a stated portion.

Surah V the Food “MAIDAH” Verses 106

106: O you who believe! Call to witness between you when death draws nigh to one of you, at the time of making the will, two just persons from among you, or, two others from among others than you, if you are travelling in the land and the calamity of death befalls you: the two “witnesses” you should detain after the prayer; then if you doubt “them”, they shall both swear by Allah, “saying”: we will not take for it a price, through there be a relative, and we will not hide the testimony of Allah for then certainly we should be among the sinners.

152: And do not approach the property of the orphan except in the best manner until he attains his maturity; and give full measure and weight with justice ____ we do not impose on any soul a duty except to the extent of its ability; and when you speak, then be just through it be “against” a relative, and fulfil Allah’s covenant; this he has enjoined you with that you may be mindful;

113: It is not “fit” for the prophet and those who believe that they should ask forgiveness for the polytheists, even though they should be near relatives, after it has become clear to them that they are inmates of the flaming fire.

18: And a burdened soul cannot bear the burden of another; and if one weighed down by burden should cry for “another to carry” its burden, not aught of it shall be carried, even though he be near of kin, you warn only those who fear their lord in secret and keep up prayer; and whoever purifies himself, he purifies himself only for “the good of” his own soul; and to Allah is the eventual coming.

Surah XLII the Counsel “SHURA” Verses 23

23: That is of which Allah give the good news to his servants, “to” those who believe and do good deeds, say: I do not ask of you any reward for it but love for my near relatives; and whoever earns good, we give him more of good there in; surely Allah is forgiving, grateful.

Surah LIX the Banishment “HASHR” Verses 7

7: What ever Allah has restored to his apostle from the people of the towns, it is for Allah and for the apostle, and for the near of kin and the orphans and the needy and the way farer, so that it may not be a thing taken by turns among the rich of you, and what ever the apostle gives you, keep back, and be careful of “your duty to” Allah; surely Allah is severe in retributing “evil”:
