Surah II the Cow “BAQARAH” Verses 51

51: And when we appointed a time of forty night with Musa, then you took the calf “for a god” after him and you were unjust.

Surah IV Women “NISA” Verses 153

153: The followers of the book ask you to bring down to them a book from heaven; so in deed they demanded of Musa a greater thing than that, for they said: show us Allah manifestly; so the lightning over took them on account of their injustice. Then they took the calf “for a god” after clear signs had come to them, but we pardoned this; and we gave to Musa clear authority.

Surah VII the Elevated Places “ARAF” Verses 148

148: And Musa’s people made of their ornaments a calf after him, a “mere” body, which gave a mooing sound, what! Could they not see that it did not speak to them nor guide them in the way? They took it “for worship” and they were unjust.

Surah XX TAHA Verses 88

88: So he brought forth for them a calf, a “mere” body, which had a mooing sound, so they said: this is your god and the god of Musa, but he forgot.
