Surah II the Cow “BAQARAH” Verses 286

286: Allah does not impose upon any soul a duty but to the extent of its ability; for it is “the benefit of” what it has earned, and upon it “the evil of” what is has wrought: our lord! Do not punish us if we forget or make a mistake; our lord! Do not lay on us a burden as thou didst lay on those before us; our lord! Do not impose upon us that which we have not the strength to bear; and pardon us and grant us protection and have mercy on us. Thou art our patron, so help us against the unbelieving people.

110: And who ever does evil or acts unjustly to his soul, then ask forgiveness of Allah, he shall find Allah forgiving, merciful.

Surah XXXV the Originator “FATIR” Verses 18

18: And a burdened soul cannot bear the burden of another; and if one weighed down by burden should cry for “another to carry” its burden, not aught of it shall be carried, even though he be near of kin, you warn only those who fear their lord in secret and keep up prayer; and who ever purifies himself, he purifies himself only for “the good of” his own soul; and to Allah is the eventual coming.

Surah XXXIX the Companies “ZUMAR” Verses 9

9: What! He who is obedient during hours of the night, prostrating himself and standing, takes care of the here after and hopes for the mercy of his lord! Say: are those who know and those who do not know alike? Only the men of understanding are mindful.

Surah XLVI the Sand Hills “AHQAF” Verses 8

8: Nay, they say: he has forged it. Say if I have forged it, you do not control anything for me from Allah; he knows best what you utter concerning it; he is enough as a witness between me and you, and he is the forgiving, the merciful.

Surah LIII the Star “NAJM” Verses 31

31: And Allah’s is what is in the heavens and what is in the earth, that he may reward those who do evil according to what they do, and “that” he may reward those who do good with goodness.
