Surah II the Cow “BAQARAH” Verses 164

164: Most surely in the creation of the heavens and the earth and the alternation of the night and the day, and the ships that run in the sea with that which profits men, and the water that Allah sends down from the cloud then gives life with it to the earth after its death and spreads in it all “kinds of” animals and the changing of the winds and the clouds made subservient between the heaven and the earth, there are signs for a people who understand.

Surah X YUNUS Verses 22

22: He it is who makes you travel by land and sea; until when you are in the ships, and they sail on with them in a pleasant breeze, and they rejoice, a violent wind overtakes them and the billows surge in on them from all side, and they become certain that they are encompassed about, they pray to Allah, being sincere to him in obedience: if thou dost deliver us from this, we will most certainly be of the grateful ones.

Surah XIV IBRAHIM Verses 32

32: Allah is he who created the heavens and the earth and sent down water from the clouds, then brought forth with it fruits as sustenance for you, and he has made the ships, subservient to you, that they might run their course in the sea by his command, and he has made the rivers subservient to you.

14: And he it is who has made the sea subservient that you may eat fresh flesh from it and bring forth from it ornaments which you wear, and you see the ships cleaving through it, and that you might seek of his bounty and that you may give thanks.

46: And one of his signs is that he sends forth the winds bearing good news, and that he may make you taste of his mercy, and that the ships may run by his command, and that you may seek of his grace, and that you may be grateful.

Surah XXXI LUQMAN Verses 31

31: Do you not see that the ships run on in the sea by Allah is favour that he may show you of his signs? Most surely there are signs in this for every patient endurer, grateful one.

Surah XXXV the Originator “FATIR” Verses 12

12: And the two seas are not alike: the one sweet, that subdues thirst by its excessive sweetness, pleasant to drink; and the other salt, that burns by its salt ness; yet from each of them you eat fresh flesh and bring forth ornaments which you wear; and you see the ships cleave through it that you may seek of his bounty and that you may be grateful.

Surah XL the Believer “MOAMIN” Verses 80

80: And there are advantages for you in them, and that you may attain there on a want which is in your breasts and upon them and upon the ships you are borne.

Surah XLIII the Embellishment “ZUKHRUF” Verses 12

12: And he who created pairs of all things, and made for you of the ships and the cattle what you ride on.

Surah XLV the Kneeling “JASIYAH” Verses 12
