Surah II the Cow “BAQARAH” Verses 114-191
114: And who is more unjust than he who prevents “men” from the masjids of Allah that his name should be remembered in them, and strives to ruin them? “As for” these, it was not proper for them that they should have entered the except in fear; they shall meet with disgrace in this world, and they shall have great chastisement in the here after.
191: And kill them wherever you find them and drive them out from whence they drove you out, and persecution is severer than slaughter, and do not fight with them at the sacred masque until they fight with you in it, but if they do fight you, then slay them; such is the recompense of the unbelievers.
Surah V the Food “MAIDAH” Verses 2
2: O you who believe! Do not violate the signs appointed by Allah nor the sacred month, nor “interfere with” the offerings, nor those going to the sacred house seeking the grace and pleasure of their lord; and when you are free from the obligations of the pilgrimage, then hunt, and let not hatred of a people ____ because they hindered you from the sacred masjid ____ incite you to exceed the limits, and help one another in good ness and piety, and do not help one another in sin and aggression; and be careful of “your duty to” Allah; surely Allah is severe in requiting “evil”.
Surah VII the Elevated Place “ARAF” Verses 29
29: Say: my lord has enjoined justice, and set up upright your faces at every time of prayer and call on him, being sincere to him in obedience; as he brought you forth in the beginning, so shall you also return.
Surah VIII the Spoils of War “ANFAL” Verses 34
34: And what “excuse” have they that Allah should not chastise them while they hinder “men” from the sacred mosque and they are not “fit to be” guardians of it; its guardians are only those who guard “against evil” but most of them do not know.
Surah IX Repentance “BARAAT” Verses 7-17
7: How can there be an agreement for the idolaters with Allah and with his apostle; except those with whom you made an agreement at the sacred mosque? So as long as they are true to you, be true to them; surely Allah loves those who are careful “of their duty”.
17: The idolaters have no right to visit the mosques of Allah while bearing witness to unbelief against themselves; these it is whose doings are null, and in the fire shall they abide.
Surah XXII the Pilgrimage “HAJ” Verses 25
25: Surely “as for” those who disbelieve, and hinder “men” from Allah’s way and from the sacred mosque which we have made equally for all men, “for” the dweller there in and “for” the visitor, and whoever shall in cline there in to wrong unjustly, we will make him taste of a painful chastisement.
