Surah II the Cow “BAQARAH” Verses 30-36

30: And when your lord said to the angels, I am going to place in the earth a khalif, they said: what! Wilt thou place in it such as shall make mischief in it and shed blood, and we celebrate thy praise and extol thy holiness? He said: surely I know what you do not know.

36: But the shaitan made them both fall from it, and caused them to depart from that “state” in which they were; and we said: get forth, some of you being the enemies of others, and there is for you in the earth bade and a provision for a time.

Surah III the Family of Imran “A’LAY IMRAN” Verses 124

124: When you said to the believers: does it not suffice you that your lord should assist you with three thousand of the angels sent down?

Surah VI the Cattle “ANAM” Verses 61

61: And he is the supreme, above his servants, and he sends keepers over you; until when dealt comes to one of you, our messenger’s because him to die, and they are not remiss.

Surah VII the Elevated Places “ARAF” Verses 11-37

11: And certainly we created you, then we fashioned you, then we said to the angels; make obeisance to Adam. So they did obeisance accept Iblis; he was not of those who did obeisance.

37: Who is then more unjust than he who forges a lie against Allah or rejects his communications? “As for” those, their portion of the book shall reach them, until when our messengers come to them causing them to die, they shall say: where is that which you used to call upon besides Allah? They would say: they are gone away from us; and they shall bear witness against themselves that they were unbelievers.

Surah VIII the Spoils of War “ANFAL” Verses 9-50

9: When you sought aid from your lord, so he answered you: I will assist you with a thousand of the angels following one another.

50: And had you seen when the angels will cause to die those who disbelieve, smiting their faces and their backs, and “saying”: taste the punishment of burning.

Surah X YUNUS Verses 21

21: And when we make people taste of mercy after an affliction touches them, lo! They devise plans against our communication, say: Allah is quicker to plan; surely our messengers write down what you plan.

11: For his sake there are angels following one another, before him and behind him, who guard him by Allah’s commandment; surely Allah does not change the condition of a people until they change their own condition; and when Allah intends evil to a people, there is no averting it and besides him they have no protector.

28: Those whom the angels cause to die while they are unjust to themselves. Then would they offer submission: we used not to do any evil: Aye! Surely Allah knows what you did.

57: And they ascribe daughters to Allah, glary be to him; and for themselves “they would have” what they desire.

40: What! Has then your lord preferred to give you sons, and “for himself” taken daughters from among the angels? Most surely you utter a grievous saying.

1: All praise is due to Allah, the originator of the heavens and the earth, the maker of the angels messengers flying on wings, two, and three, and four; he increases in creation what he pleases; surely Allah has power over all things.

7: Those who bear the power and those around him celebrate the praise of their lord and believe in him and ask protection for those who believe: our lord! Thou embracest all things in mercy and knowledge, therefore grant protection to those who turn “to thee” and follow thy way, and save them from the punishment of the hell.

Surah XLII the Counsel “SHURA” Verses 5

5: The heavens may almost rend asunder from above them and the angels sing the praise of their lord and ask for give ness for those on earth; now surely Allah is the forgiving, the merciful.

Surah XLIII the Embellishment “ZUKHRUF” Verses 19

19: And they make the angels ____ them who are the servants of the beneficent god ____ female “divinities”. What: did they witness their creation? Their evidence shall be written down and they shall be questioned.

Surah XLVII MUHAMMAD Verses 27

27: But how will it be when the angels cause them to die smiting their backs.

Surah LIII the Star “NAJM” Verses 27

27: Most surely they who do not believe in the here after name the angels with female names.

Surah LXIX the Sure Calamity “HAQQAH” Verses 17

17: And the angels shall be on the sides there of and above them eight shall bear on that day your lord’s power.

Surah LXXIV the Clothed One “MUDDASSIR” Verses 31

31: And we have not made the wardens of the fire others than angels, and we have not made their number but as a trial for those who disbelieve, that those who have been given the book may be certain and those who believe may increase in faith, and those who have been given the book and the believers may not doubt, and that those in whose hearts is a disease and the unbelievers may say: what does Allah means by this parable? Thus does Allah make err whom he pleases, and he guides whom he pleases, and none knows the hosts of your lord but he himself; and this is naught but a reminder to the morals.
