Surah II the Cow “BAQARAH” Verses 27-43-177-263-267-272

27: Who break the covenant of Allah after its confirmation and cut asunder what Allah has ordered to be joined, and make mischief in the land; these it is that are the losers.

43: And when we said to the angels: make obeisance to Adam they did obeisance, but Iblis “did it not”, he refused and he was proud, and he was one of the unbelievers.

177: It is not righteousness that you turn your faces towards the east and the west, but righteousness is this that one should believe in Allah and the last day and the angels and the book and the prophets, and give away wealth out of love for him to the near of kin and orphans and the needy and the wayfarer and the beggars and for “the emancipation of” the captives, and keep up prayer and pay the poor ___ rate; and the performers of their promise when they make a promise, and the patient in distress and affliction and in time of conflicts ____ these are they who are true “to themselves” and these are they who guard “against evil”.

263: Kind speech and forgiveness is better than charity followed by in jury; and Allah is self – sufficient, forbearing.

267: O you who believe! Spend “benevolently of the good things that you earn and or what we have brought forth for you out of the earth, and do not aim at what is bad that you may spend “in alms” of it, while you would not take it yourselves unless you have its price lowered, and know that Allah is self ____ sufficient, praise worthy.

272: To make them walk in the right way is not incumbent on you, but Allah guides aright whom he pleases; and what ever good thing you spend, it is to your own good; and you do not spend but to seek Allah’s pleasure; and whatever good things you spend shall be paid back to you in full, and you shall not be wronged.

Surah III the Family of Imran “A’LAY IMRAN” Verses 92

92: By no means shall you attain to righteousness until you spend “benevolently” out of what you love; and whatever thing you spend, Allah surely knows it.

Surah IV Women “NISA” Verses 38

38: And those who spend their property “in alms” to be seen of the people and do not believe in Allah nor in the last day; and as for him whose associate is the shaitan, an evil associate is he!

156: And ordain for us good in this world’s life and in the hereafter, for surely we turn to thee. 76: The hypocritical men and the hypocritical women are all alike; they enjoin evil and forbid good and withhold their hands, they have forsaken Allah, so he has forsaken them; surely the hypocrites are the transgressors.

79: They who taunt those of the faithful who give their alms freely, and those who give to the extent of their earnings, and scoff at them; Allah will pay them back their scoffing, and they shall have a painful chastisement.

99: And of the dwellers of the desert are those who believe in Allah and the latter day and take what they spend to be “means of” the nearness of Allah and the apostle’s prayers; surely it shall be means of nearness for them; Allah will make them enter into his mercy; surely Allah is forgiving, merciful.

Surah XIII the Thunder “RA’D” Verses 22

22: And those who are constant, seeking the pleasure of their lord, and keep up prayer and spend “benevolently” out of what we have given them secretly and openly and repel evil with good, as for those, they shall have the “happy” issue of the abode.

31: Say to my servants who believe that they should keep up prayer and spend out of what we have given them secretly and openly before the coming of the day in which there shall be no bartering nor mutual befriending.

39: Say: surely my lord amplifies the means of subsistence for which he pleases of his servants and straitens “them” for whom “he pleases”, and what ever thing you spend, he exceeds it in reward, and he is the best of sustainers.

12: O you who believe I when you consult the apostle, then offer some thing in charity before your consultation; that is better for you and purer; but if you do not find, then surely Allah is forgiving, merciful.
