Surah II the Cow “BAQARAH” Verses 177

177: It is not righteousness that you turn your faces towards the east and the west, but righteousness is that one should believe in Allah and he last day and the angels and the book and the prophets, and give away wealth out of love for him to the near of kin and the orphans and the needy and the way farer and the beggars and for “the emancipation of” the captives, and keep up prayer and pay the poor ____ rate; and the performers of their promise when they make a promise, and in time of conflicts ____ these are they who are true “to themselves” and these are they who guard “against evil”.

Surah III the Family of Imran “A’LAY IMRAN” Verses 75

75: And among the followers of the book there are some such that if you entrust one “of them” with a heap of wealth, he shall pay it back to you; and among them there are some such that if you entrust one “of them” with a dinar he shall not pay it back to you except so long as you remain firm in demanding it; this is because they say: there is not upon us in the matter of unlearned people any way “to reproach”; and they tell a lie against Allah while they know.

152: And do not approach the property of the orphan except in the best manner until he attains his maturity; and give full measure and weight with justice ____ we do not impose on any soul a duty except to the extent of its ability; and when you speak, then be just though it be “against”” a relative and fulfil Allah’s covenant; this he has enjoined you with that you may be mindful;
