Surah II the Cow ”BAQARAH” Verses 164-251-253

164: Most surely in the creation of the heavens and the earth and the alter nation of the night and the day, and the ships that run in the sea with that which profits men, and the water that Allah sends down from the cloud, then gives life with it to the earth after its death and spreads in it all ”kinds of” animals, and the changing of the winds and the clouds made subservient between the heaven and the earth, there are signs for a people who understand.

251: So they put them to flight by Allah’s permission. And Dawood slew Jalut, and Allah gave him kingdom and wisdom, and taught him of what he pleased. And were it not for Allah’s repelling some men with others, the earth would certainly be in a state of disorder; but Allah is gracious to the creatures.

253: We have made some of these apostles to excel the others; among them are they to whom Allah spoke, and some of them he exalted by ”many degrees of” rank; and we gave clear miracles to Isa son of Marium, and strengthened him with the holy spirit, and if Allah had pleased, those after them would not have faught one with another after clear arguments had come to them, but they disagreed; so there were some of them who believed and others who denied; and if Allah had pleased they would not have fought one with another, but Allah brings about what he intends.

Surah IV Women ”NISA” Verses 79

79: What ever benefit comes to you ”o man”, it is from Allah, and what ever misfortune befalls you, it is from yourself; and we have sent you ”o prophet”, to mankind as an apostle; and Allah is sufficient as a witness.

Surah V the Food ”MAIDAH” Verses 48

48: And we have revealed to you the book with the truth, verifying what is before it of the book and a guardian over it, here fore judge between them by what Allah has revealed, and do not follow their low desires ”to turn away” from the truth that has come to you; for every one of you did we appoint a law and away, and if Allah has pleased he would have made you ”all” a single people. But that he might try you in what he gave you, there fore strive with one another to hasten to virtuous deeds; to Allah is your return, of all ”of you”, so he will let you know that in which you differed;

Surah VI the Cattle ”ANAM” Verses 35-136

35: And if their turning away is hard on you, then if you can seek an opening ”to go down” into the earth or a ladder ”to ascend up” to heaven so that you should bring them a sign and Allah had pleased he would certainly have gathered them all on guidance, there fore be not of the ignorant.

136: And they set apart a portion for Allah out of what he has created of tilth and cattle, and say: this is for Allah____ so they assert ____ and this for our associates; then what is for their associates, it reaches not to Allah, and what ever is ”set apart” for Allah, it reaches to their associates; evil is that which they judge.

Surah VII the Elevated Places ”ARAF” Verses 143-179-180

143: And when Musa came at our appointed time and his lord spoke to him, he said: my lord! Show me ”thy self”, so that I may look upon thee. He said: you cannot ”bear to” see me, but look at the mountain, if it remains firm in its place, then will you see me; but when his lord manifested his glory to them mountain he made it crumble and Musa fell down in a swoon; then when he recovered, he said: glory be to thee, I turn to thee, and I am the first of the believers.

179: And certainly we have created for hell many of the jinn and the men; they have hearts, with which they do not understand, and they have eyes with which they do not see, and they have ears with which they do not hear; they are as cattle, nay, they are in worse errors; these are the heedless ones.

180: And Allah’s are the best names, therefore call on him there by, and leave alone those who violate the sanctity of his names; they shall be recompensed for what they did.

Surah XIII the Thunder ”RA’D” Verses 31

31: And even if there were a Quran with which the mountains were made to pass away, or the earth were travelled over with it, or the dead were made to speak there by; nay! The commandment is wholly Allah’s. Have not yet those who believe known that if Allah please he would certainly guide all the people? And ”as for” those who disbelieve, there will not cease to afflict them because of what they do a repelling calamity, or it will alight close by their abodes, until the promise of Allah comes about; surely Allah will not fail in ”his” promise.

Surah XIV IBRAHIM Verses 4

4: And we did not send any apostle but with the language of his people, so that he might explain to them clearly; then Allah makes whom he pleases err and he guides whom he pleases, and he is the mighty, the wise.

Surah XVI the Bee ”NAHL” Verses 93

93: And if Allah please he would certainly make you a single nation, but he causes to err whom he pleases and guides whom he pleases; and most certainly you will be questioned as to what you did.

Surah XVII the Israelites ”BANI – ISRAEL” Verses 20-77-110

20: All do we aid ____ these as well as those ____ out of the bounty of your lord, and the bounty of your lord is not confined.

77: ”This is our” course with regard to those of our apostles whom we sent before you, and you shall not find a change in our course.

110: Say: call upon Allah or call upon, the beneficent god; which ever you call upon, he has the best names; and do not utter your prayer with a much raised voice nor be silent with regard to it, and seek a way between these.

Surah XVIII the Cave ”KAHF” Verses 109

109: Say: if the sea were ink for the words of my lord, the sea would surely be consumed before the words of my lord are exhausted, though we were to bring the like of that ”sea” to add there to.

Surah XIX MARIUM Verses 92

92: And it is not worthy of the beneficent god that he should take ”to himself” a son.

Surah XX TAHA Verses 14

14:  Surely I am Allah, there is no god but I, therefore serve me and keep up prayer for my remembrance;

Surah XXI the Prophets ”ANBIYA” Verses 36

36: And when those who disbelieve see you, they do not take you but for one to be scoffed at; is this he who speaks of your gods? And they are deniers at the mention of the beneficent god.

Surah XXII the Pilgrimage ”HAJ” Verses 40

40: Those who have been expelled from their homes without a just cause except that they say: our lord is Allah, and had there not been Allah’s repelling some people by others, certainly there would have been pulled down cloisters and churches and synagogues and mosques in which Allah’s name is much remembered; and surely Allah will help him who helps his cause; most surely Allah is strong, mighty.

Surah XXV the Criterion ”FURQAN” Verses 60

60: And when it is said to them: make obeisance to the beneficent god, they say: and what is the god of beneficence? Shall we make obeisance to what you did us? And it adds to their aversion.

Surah XXIX the Spider ”ANKABUT” Verses 62

62: Allah makes abundant the means of subsistence for whom he pleases of his servants, and straitens them for whom ”he pleases” surely Allah is cognizant of all things.

Surah XXX the Romans ”RUM” Verses 50

50: Look then at the signs of Allah’s mercy, how he gives life to the earth after its death, most surely he will raise the dead to life; and he has power over all things.

Surah XXXIII the Allies ”AHZAB” Verses 62

62: ”Such has been” the course of Allah with respect to those who have gone before; and you shall not find any change in the course of Allah.

Surah XXXV the Originator ”FATIR” Verses 8-11-43

8: What! Is he whose evil deed is made fair seeming to him so much so that he considers it good? Now surely Allah makes err whom he pleases and guides a right whom he pleases, so let not your soul waste away in grief for them; surely Allah is cognizant of what they do.

11: And Allah created you of dust, then of the life ____ germ, then he made you pairs; and no female bears, no does she bring forth, except with his knowledge; and no one whose life is lengthened has his life lengthened, nor is aught diminished of one’s life, but it is all in a book; surely this is easy to Allah.

43: ”In” behaving proudly in the land and in planning evil; and the evil plans shall not be set any save the authors of it. Then should they wait for aught except the way of the former people? For you shall not find any alteration in the course of Allah; and you shall not find any change in the course of Allah.

Surah XXXVI YASEEN Verses 33

33: And a sign to them is the dead earth: we give life to it and bring forth from it grain so they eat of it.

Surah XXXIX the Companies ”ZUMAR” Verses 21

21: Do you not see that Allah sends down water from the cloud, then makes it go along in the earth in springs, then brings forth there with herbage of various colours, then it withers so that you see it becoming yellow, then he makes it a thing crushed and broken into pieces? Most surely there is reminder in this for the men of understanding.

Surah XLIII the Embellishment ”ZUKHRUF” Verses 17-32

17: And when one of them is given news of that of which he sets up as a likeness for the beneficent god, his face becomes black and he is full of rage.

32: Will they distribute the mercy of your lord? We distribute among them their livelihood in the life of this world, and we have exalted some of them may take others in subjection; and they mercy of your lord is better than what they amass.

Surah L QAF Verses 38

38: And certainly we created the heavens and the earth and what is between them in six periods and there touched us not any fatigue.

Surah LIV the Moon ”QAMAR” Verses 50

50: And our command is but one, as the twinkling of an eye.

Surah LVI the Great event ”WAQIA” Verses 4

4: When the earth shall be shaken with a ”severe” shaking.

Surah LVIII the Pleading One ”MUJADILAH” Verses 7

7: Do you not see that Allah knows what ever is in the heavens and what ever is in the earth? Now here is there a secret counsel between three persons but he is the fourth of them, nor ”between” five but he is the sixth of them, nor less than that nor more but he is with them where so ever they are; then he will in form them of what they did on the day of resurrection; surely Allah is cognizant of all things.

Surah LIX the Banishment ”HASHR” Verses 21

21: Had we sent down this Quran on a mountain, you would certainly have seen it falling down, splitting asunder because of the fear to Allah, and we set forth these parables to men that they may reflect.

Surah LX the Examined One ”MUNTAHANAH” Verses 12

12: O prophet! When believing women come to you giving you a pledge that they will not associate aught with Allah, and will not steal, and will not commit fornication, and will not kill their children, and will not bring a calumny which they have forged of themselves, and will not disobey you in what is good, accept their pledge, and ask forgiveness for them from Allah; surely Allah is forgiving, merciful.

Surah LXVII the Kingdom ”MULK” Verses 5

5: And certainly we have adorned this lower heaven with lamps and we have made these missiles for the shaitans, and we have prepared for them chastisement of burning.

Surah LXXIV the Clothed One ”MUDDASSIR” Verses 3

3: And your lord do magnify.

Surah LXXIX those who Pull Out ”NAZIAT” Verses 27

27: Are you the harder to create or the heaven? He made it.

Surah LXXXVI the Night – Comer ”TARIQ” Verses 5

5: So let man consider of what he is created;

7: And the soul and him who made it perfect.
