Surah II the Cow ”BAQARAH” Verses 17-265
17: Their parable is like the parable of one who kindled a fire, but when it had illumined all around him, Allah took away their light, and left them in utter darkness ____ they do not see.
265: And the parable of those who spend their property to seek the pleasure of Allah and for the certainly of their souls is as the parable of a garden on an elevated ground, upon which heavy rain falls so it brings forth its fruit twofold but if heavy rain does not fall upon it, then light rain ”is sufficient”; and Allah sees what you do.
Surah III the Family of Imran ”A’LAY IMRAN” Verses 59
59: Surely the likeness of Isa is with Allah as the likeness of Adam; he creted him from dust, then said to him, be, and he was.
Surah VI the Cattle ”ANAM” Verses 122
122: Is he who was dead then we raised him to life and made for him a light by which he walks among the people, like him whose likeness is that of one in utter darkness whence he cannot come forth? Thus what they did was made fair seeming of the unbelievers.
Surah VII the Elevated Places ”ARAF” Verses 40
40: Surely ”as for” those who reject our communications and turn away from them haughtily, the doors of heaven shall not be opened for them, nor shall they enter the garden until the camel pass through the eye of the needle; and thus do we reward the guilty.
Surah X YUNUS Verses 24
24: The likeness of this world’s life is only as water which we send down from the cloud, then the herbage of the earth of which men and cattle eat grows luxuriantly there by; until when the earth puts on its golden raiment and it becomes garnished, and its people think that they have power over it, our command comes to it, by night or by day, so we render it as reaped seed produce, as though it had not been in existence yesterday; thus do we make clear the communications for a people who reflect.
Surah XI HUD Verses 24
24: The likeness of the two parties as the blind and the deaf, and the seeing and the seeing and the hearing: are they equal in condition? Will you not then mind?
Surah XIII the Thunder ”RA’D” Verses 17
17: He sends down water from the cloud, then water courses flow ”with water” according to their measure, and the torrent bears along the swelling foam, and from what they melt in the fire for the sake of making ornaments or apparatus arises a scum like it; thus does Allah compare truth and false hood; then as for the scum, it passes away as a worthless thing; and as for that which profits the people, it tarries in the earth; thus does Allah set forth parables.
Surah XIV IBRAHIM Verses 18
18: The parable of those who disbelieve in their lord: their actions are like ashes on which the wind blows hard on a stormy day; they shall not have power over any thing out of what they have earned: this is the great error.

60: For those who do not believe in the hereafter is an evil attribute, and Allah’s is the lofties attribute; and he is the mighty, the wise.

48: See what they liken you to! So they have gone astray and cannot find the way.

32: And set forth to them a parable of two men; for one of them we made two gardens of grape vines, and we surrounded them both with palms, and in the midst of them we made cornfields.

73: O people! A parable is set forth, therefore listen to it; surely those whom you call upon besides Allah cannot create a fly, though they should all gather for it, and should the fly snatch away anything from them, they could not take it back from it; weak are the invoker and the invoked.

34: And certainly we have sent to you clear communications and a description of those who have passed away before you and an admonition to those who guard ”against evil”.

39: And among his signs is this that you see the earth still, but when we send down on it the water, it stirs and swells: most surely he who gives it life is the giver of life to the dead; surely he has power over all things.
Surah XLIII the Embellishment ”ZUKHRUF” Verses 8
8: Then we destroyed those who were stronger than these in prowess, and the case of the ancients has gone before.
Surah XLV the Kneeling ”JASIYAH” Verses 23
23: Have you then considered him who takes his low desire for his god, and Allah has made him err having knowledge and has set a seal upon his ear and his heart and put a covering upon his eye. Who can then guide him after Allah? Will you not then be mindful?
Surah XLVII MUHAMMAD Verses 3
3: That is because those who disbelieve follow falsehood, and those who believe follow the truth from their lord; thus does Allah set forth to men their examples.
Surah XLVIII the Victory ”FATEH” Verses 29
29: Muhammad is the apostle of Allah, and those with him are firm of heart against the unbelievers, compassionate among themselves; you will see them bowing down, prostrating themselves, seeking grace from Allah and pleasure; their marks are in their faces because of the effect of prostration; that is their description in the Tavrat and their description in the Injeel; like as seed ____ produce that puts forth its sprout, then strengthens it, so it becomes stout and stands firmly on its stem, delighting the so ewers that he may enrage the unbelievers on account of them; Allah has promised those among them who believe and do good, forgiveness and a great reward.
Surah LVII Iron ”HADID” Verses 20
20: Know that this world’s life is only sport and play and gaiety and boasting among yourselves, and a vying in the multiplication of wealth and children, like the rain, whose causing the vegetation to grow, pleases the husband men; then it withers away so that you will see it become yellow, then it becomes dried up and broken down; and in the here after is a severe chastisement and ”also” forgiveness from Allah and ”his” pleasure; and this world’s life is naught but means of deception.
Surah LIX the Banishment ”HASHR” Verses 15
15: Like those before them shortly; they tasted the evil result of their affair, and they shall have a painful punishment.
Surah LXII Friday ”JUMMAH” Verses 5
5: The likeness of those who were charged with the Tavrat, then they did not observe it, is as the likeness of the people who reject the communications of Allah; and Allah does not guide the unjust people.
Surah LXIII the Hypocrites ”MUNAFIQUN” Verses 4
4: And when you see them, their persons will please you, and if they speak, you will listen to their speech; ”they are” as if they were big pieces of wood clad with garments; they think every cry to be against them. They are the enemy, therefore beware of them; may Allah destroy them, whence are they turned back?
Surah LXVI the Prohibition ”TAHRIM” Verses 10
10: Allah sets forth an example to those who disbelieve the wife of Nuh and the wife of Lut: they were both under two of our righteous servants, but they acted treacherously towards them so they availed those naught against Allah, and it was said: enter both the fire with those who enter.
Surah LXVII Kingdom ”MULK” Verses 22
22: What! Is he who goes prone upon his face better guided or he who walks upright upon a straight path?
Surah LXVIII the Pen ”QALAM” Verses 17
17: Surely we will try them as we tried the owners of the garden, when they swore that they would certainly cut off the produce in the morning.
Surah LXXIV the Clothed One ”MUDDASSIR” Verses 31
31: And sons are dwelling in his presence.
