Surah IV Women “NISA” Verses 171

يَا أَهْلَ الْكِتَابِ لَا تَغْلُوا فِي دِينِكُمْ وَلَا تَقُولُوا عَلَى اللَّهِ إِلَّا الْحَقَّ إِنَّمَا الْمَسِيحُ عِيسَى ابْنُ مَرْيَمَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ وَكَلِمَتُهُ أَلْقَاهَا إِلَى مَرْيَمَ وَرُوحٌ مِنْهُ فَآمِنُوا بِاللَّهِ وَرُسُلِهِ وَلَا تَقُولُوا ثَلَاثَةٌ انْتَهُوا خَيْرًا لَكُمْ إِنَّمَا اللَّهُ إِلَهٌ وَاحِدٌ سُبْحَانَهُ أَنْ يَكُونَ لَهُ وَلَدٌ لَهُ مَا فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَمَا فِي الْأَرْضِ وَكَفَى بِاللَّهِ وَكِيلًا – سوره ۴: النساء – جزء ۶ : آیه 171

171: O followers of the book! do not exceed the limits in your religion, and do not speak “lies” against Allah, but “speak” the truth; the messiah, Isa son of Marium is only an apostle of Allah and his word which he communicated to Marium and a spirit from him; believe therefore in Allah and his apostles; and say not, three. Desist, it is better for you; Allah is only God: far be it from his glory that he should have a son; what ever is in the heavens and what ever is in the earth is his; and Allah is sufficient for a protector.

Surah V the Food “MAIDAH” Verses 73

لَقَدْ كَفَرَ الَّذِينَ قَالُوا إِنَّ اللَّهَ ثَالِثُ ثَلَاثَةٍ وَمَا مِنْ إِلَهٍ إِلَّا إِلَهٌ وَاحِدٌ وَإِنْ لَمْ يَنْتَهُوا عَمَّا يَقُولُونَ لَيَمَسَّنَّ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا مِنْهُمْ عَذَابٌ أَلِيمٌ – سوره ۵: المائدة – جزء ۶ : آیه 73

73: Certainly they disbelieve who say: surely Allah is the third “person” of the three; and there is no god but the one god, and if they desist not from what they say, a painful chastisement shall befall those among them who disbelieve.

Surah VI the Cattle “ANAM” Verses 151

قُلْ تَعَالَوْا أَتْلُ مَا حَرَّمَ رَبُّكُمْ عَلَيْكُمْ أَلَّا تُشْرِكُوا بِهِ شَيْئًا وَبِالْوَالِدَيْنِ إِحْسَانًا وَلَا تَقْتُلُوا أَوْلَادَكُمْ مِنْ إِمْلَاقٍ نَحْنُ نَرْزُقُكُمْ وَإِيَّاهُمْ وَلَا تَقْرَبُوا الْفَوَاحِشَ مَا ظَهَرَ مِنْهَا وَمَا بَطَنَ وَلَا تَقْتُلُوا النَّفْسَ الَّتِي حَرَّمَ اللَّهُ إِلَّا بِالْحَقِّ ذَلِكُمْ وَصَّاكُمْ بِهِ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَعْقِلُونَ – سوره ۶: الأنعام – جزء ۸ : آیه 151

151: Say: come I will recite what your lord has forbid den to you ____ “remember” that you do not associate anything with him and show kindness to your parents, and do not slay your children for “fear of” poverty ____ we provide for you and for them ____ and do not draw nigh to indecencies, those of them which are apparent and those which are concealed, and do not kill the soul which Allah has forbidden except for the requirements of justice; this he has enjoined you with that you may understand.
