Surah II the Cow ”BAQARAH” Verses 87-253
87: And most certainly we gave Musa the book and we sent apostles after him one after another, and we gave Isa, the son of Marium, clear arguments and strengthened him with the holy spirit, what! Whenever ten an apostle came to you with that which your souls did not desire, you were insolent so you called some liars and some you slew.
253: We have made some of these apostles to excel the others; among them are they to whom Allah spoke, and some of them he exalled by ”many degrees of” rank; and we gave clear miracles to Isa son of Marium, and strengthened him with they holy spirit, and if Allah had pleased, those after them would not have fought one with another after clear arguments had come to them, but they disagreed, so there were some of them who believed and others who denied; and if Allah had pleased they would not have fought one with another, but Allah brings about what he intends.
Surah III the Family of Imran ”A’LAY IMRAN” Verses 21-80-81-179
21: Surely ”as for” those who disbelieve in the communications of Allah and slay the prophets unjustly and slay those among men who enjoin justice, announce to them a painful chastisement.
80: And neither would he enjoin you that you should take the angels and the prophets for lords; what! Would he enjoin you with unbelief after you are Muslims?
81: And when Allah made a covenant through the prophets: certainly what I have given you of book and wisdom ____ then and apostle comes to you verifying that which is with you, you must believe in him and you must aid him. He said: do you affirm and accept my compact in this ”matter”? They said: we do affirm. He said: then bear witness and I ”too” am of the bearers of witness with you.
179: On no account will Allah leave the believers in the condition which you are in until he separates the evil from the good: nor is Allah going to make you acquainted with the unseen, but Allah chooses of his apostles whom he pleases: therefore believe in Allah and his apostles: and if you believe and guard ”against evil”, then you shall have a great reward.
Surah IV Women ”NISA” Verses 13-150-164-165
13: These are Allah’s limits; and who ever obeys Allah and his apostle, he will cause him to enter garden beneath which rivers flow, to abide in them; and this is great achievement.
150: Surely those who disbelieve in Allah and his apostles and ”those who” desire to make a distinction between Allah and his apostles and say: we believe in some and disbelieve in other; and desire to take a course between ”this and” that.
164: And ”we sent” apostles we have mentioned to you before and apostles we have not mentioned to you; and to Musa, Allah addressed his word, speaking ”to him”;
165: ”We sent” apostles as the givers of good news and as warners, so that people should not have against Allah after the ”coming of” apostles and Allah is mighty, wise.
Surah V the Food ”MAIDAH” Verses 32
32: For this reason did we prescribe to the children of Israel that whoever slays a soul, unless it be for man slaughter or for mischief in the land, it is as though he slew all men; and whoever keeps it alive, it is as though he kept alive all men; and certainly our apostles came to them with clear arguments, but even after that many of them certainly act extravagantly in the land.
Surah VI the Cattle ”ANAM” Verses 10-48
10: And certainly apostles before you were mocked at, but that which they mocked at encompassed the scoffers among them.
48: And we send not messengers but as announcers of good news and givers of warning; then whoever believes and acts aright, they shall have no fear, nor shall they grieve.
Surah VII the Elevated Places ”ARAF” Verses 6-35-94
6: Certainly then we will question those to whom ”the apostles” were sent and most certainly we will also question the apostles;
35: O children of Adam! If there come to you apostles from among you relating to you my communications, then whoever shall guard ”against evil” and act right ____ they shall have no fear, no shall they grieve.
94: And we did not send a prophet in town, but we overtook its people with distress and affliction in order that they might humble themselves.
Surah X YUNUS Verses 13-74
13: And certainly we did destroy generations before you when they were unjust, and their apostles had come to them with clear arguments, and they would not believe; thus do we recompense the guilty people.
74: Then did we raise up after him apostles to their people, so they came to them with clear arguments, but they would not believe in what they had rejected before; thus it is that we set seals upon the hearts of those who exceed the limits.
Surah XI HUD Verses 120
120: And all we relate to you of the accounts of the apostles is to strength on your heart there with; and in this has come to you the truth and an admonition, and a reminder to the believers.
Surah XII YUSUF Verses 110-111
110: Until when the apostles despaired and the people be came sure that they were indeed told a lie, our help came to them and whom we pleased was delivered; and our punishment is not averted from the guilty people.
111: In their histories there is certainly a lesson for men of understanding, it is not a narrative which could be forged, but a verification of what is before it and a distinct explanation of all things and a guide and a mercy to a people who believe.
Surah XIII the Thunder ”RA’D” Verses 7-32
7: And those who disbelieve say: why has not a sign been sent down upon him from his lord? You are only a warner and ”there is” a guide for every people.
32: And apostles before you were certainly mocked at, but I gave respite to those who disbelieved, then I destroyed them; how then was my requital ”of evil”?
Surah XIV IBRAHIM Verses 4-9
4: And we did not send any apostle but with the language of his people, so that the might explain to them clearly; then Allah makes whom he pleases err and he is the mighty, the wise.
9: Has not the account reached you of those before you, of the people of Nuh and Ad and Samood, and those after them? None knows them but Allah their apostles come to them with clear arguments, but they thrust their hands into their mouths and said: surely we deny that with which you are sent, and most surely we are in serious doubt as to that to which you invite us.
Surah XVI the Bee ”NAHL” Verses 2-36-43-63-113
2: He sends down the angels with the inspiration by his commandment on whom he pleases of his servants, saying: give the warning that there is no god but me, therefore be careful ”of your duty” to me.
36: And certainly we raised in every nation an apostle saying: serve Allah and shun the shaitan. So there were some of them whom Allah guided and there were other against whom error was due; there fore travel in the land, then see what the end of rejecters was.
43: And we did not send before you any but men to whom we sent revelation ____ so ask the followers of the reminder if you do not know ____.
63: By Allah, most certainly we sent ____ ”apostles” to nations before you, but the shaitan made their deeds fair ____ seeming to them, so he is their guardian to day, and they shall have a painful punishment.
113: And certainly there came to them and apostle from among them, but they rejected him, so the punishment overtook them while they were unjust.
Surah XVII the Israelites ”BANI – ISRAEL” Verses 55
55: And your lord best knows those who are in the heavens and the earth; and certainly we have made some of the prophets to excel others, and to Dawood we gave a scripture.
Surah XVIII the Cave ”KAHF” Verses 56
56: And we do not send apostles but as givers of good news and warning, and those who disbelieve make a false contention that they may render null there by the truth, and they take my communications and that with which they are warned for a mockery.
Surah XXI the Prophets ”ANBIYA” Verses 25-41
25: And we did not send before you any apostle but we revealed to him that there is no god but me, therefore serve me.
41: And certainly apostles before you were scoffed at, then there befell those of them who scoffed that at which they had scoffed.
Surah XXII the Pilgrimage ”HAJ” Verses 42
42: And if they reject you, then already before you did the people of Nuh and Ad and Samood reject ”prophets”.
Surah XXIII the Believers ”MOAMINUN” Verses 31-51
31: Then we rose up after them another generation.
51: O apostles! Eat of the good things and do well; surely I know what you do.
Surah XXV the Criterion ”FURQAN” Verses 20-51
20: And we have not sent before you any messengers but they most surely ate food and went about in the markets; you bear patiently? And your lord is ever seeing.
51: And if we had pleased we would certainly have raised a warner in ever town.
Surah XXVI the Poets ”SHUARA” Verses 208
208: And we did not destroy any town but it had ”its” warners.
Surah XXXIII the Allies ”AHZAB” Verses 7
7: And when we made a covenant with the prophets and with you, and with Nuh and Ibrahim and Musa and Isa, son of Marium, and we made with them a strong covenant.
Surah XXXV the Originator ”FATIR” Verses 4-24-42
4: And if they call you a liar, truly apostles before you were called liars, and to Allah are all affairs returned.
24: Surely we have sent you with the truth as a bearer of good news and a warner; and there are not a people but a warner has gone among them.
42: And they swore by Allah with the strongest of their oaths that if there come to them a warner they would be better guided than any of the nations; but when there came to them a warner it increased them in naught but aversion.
Surah XXXVI YASEEN Verses 13-23-30
13: And set out to them an example of the people of the town, when the messengers came to it.
23: What! Shall I take besides him gods whose intercession, if the beneficent god should desire to affict me with harm, shall not avail me aught, nor shall they be able to deliver me?
30: Also for the servants! There comes not to them an apostle but they mock at him.
Surah XXXVIII SUAD Verses 12-14
12: The people of Nuth and Ad, and firon, the lord of spikes, rejected ”apostles” before them.
14: There was none of them but called the apostles liars, so just was my retribution.
Surah XL the Believer ”MOAMIN” Verses 21-51-78-81
21: Have they not travelled in the earth and seen how was the end of those who were before them? Mightier than these were they in strength and in fortifications in the land, but Allah destroyed them for their sins; and there was not for them any defender against Allah.
51: Most surely we help our apostles, and those who believe, in this world’s life and on the day when the witnesses shall stand up.
78: And certainly we sent apostles before you: there are some of them that we have mentioned to you and there are others whom we have not mentioned to you; and it was not meet for an apostle that he should bring a sign except with Allah’s permission, but when the command of Allah came, judgement was given with truth, and those who treated ”it” as a lie were lost.
81: And he shows you his sings; which then of Allah’s signs will you deny?
Surah XLI HAMIM Verses 13
13: But if they turn aside, then say: I have warned you of a scourge like the scourge of Ad and Samood.
Surah XLIII the Embellishment ”ZUKHRUF” Verses 6-23
6: And how many a prophet have we sent among the ancients.
23: And thus, we did not send before you any warner in a town, but those who led easy lives in it said; and surely we are followers of their footsteps.
Surah XLVI the Sand Hills ”AHQAF” Verses 21-32
21: And mention the brother of Ad; when he warned his people in the sandy plains, ____ and indeed warners acme before him and after him ____ saying; serve none but Allah; surely I fear for you the punishment of a grievous day.
32: And who ever does not accept the divine caller, he shall not escape in the earth and he shall not have guardians besides him; these are in manifest error.
Surah L QAF Verses 12
12: ”Others” before them rejected ”prophets”; the people of Nuh and the dwellers of Ar ____ Rass and Samood.
Surah LI the Scatters ”ZARIAT” Verses 52
52: Thus there did not come to those before them an apostle but they said: a magician or a mad man.
Surah LVII HADID Verses 25
25: Certainly we sent our apostles with clear arguments, and sent down with them the book and the balance that men may conduct themselves with equity; and we have made the iron, there in is great violence and advantages to men, and that Allah may know who helps him and his apostles in the secret Allah is strong, mighty.
Surah LXV the Divorce ”TALAQ” Verses 8
8: And how many a town which rebelled against the commandment of its lord and his apostles, so we called it to account severely and we chastised it ”with” a stern chastisement.
Surah LXIX the Sure Calamity ”HAQAH” Verses 9
9: And firon and those before him and the over thrown cities continuously committed sins.
