Surah II the Cow “BAQARAH” Verses 78

وَمِنْهُمْ أُمِّيُّونَ لَا يَعْلَمُونَ الْكِتَابَ إِلَّا أَمَانِيَّ وَإِنْ هُمْ إِلَّا يَظُنُّونَ – سوره ۲: البقرة – جزء ۱ : آیه 78

78: And there are among them illiterates who know not the book but only lies, and they do but conjecture.

Surah III the Family of Imran “A’LAY IMRAN” Verses 73-113

وَلَا تُؤْمِنُوا إِلَّا لِمَنْ تَبِعَ دِينَكُمْ قُلْ إِنَّ الْهُدَى هُدَى اللَّهِ أَنْ يُؤْتَى أَحَدٌ مِثْلَ مَا أُوتِيتُمْ أَوْ يُحَاجُّوكُمْ عِنْدَ رَبِّكُمْ قُلْ إِنَّ الْفَضْلَ بِيَدِ اللَّهِ يُؤْتِيهِ مَنْ يَشَاءُ وَاللَّهُ وَاسِعٌ عَلِيمٌ – سوره ۳: آل عمران – جزء ۳ : آیه 73

73: And do not believe but in him who follows your religion. Say: surely the “true” guidance is the guidance of Allah ____ that one may be given “by him” the like of what you were given; or they would contend with you by an argument before your lord. Say: surely grace is in the hand of Allah, he gives it to whom he pleases; and Allah is ample ____ giving, knowing.

لَيْسُوا سَوَاءً مِنْ أَهْلِ الْكِتَابِ أُمَّةٌ قَائِمَةٌ يَتْلُونَ آيَاتِ اللَّهِ آنَاءَ اللَّيْلِ وَهُمْ يَسْجُدُونَ – سوره ۳: آل عمران – جزء ۴ : آیه 113

113: They are no tall a like; of the followers of the book there is an upright party; they recite Allah’s communications in the night time and they adore “him”.

Surah XIII the Thunder “RA’D” Verses 38

وَلَقَدْ أَرْسَلْنَا رُسُلًا مِنْ قَبْلِكَ وَجَعَلْنَا لَهُمْ أَزْوَاجًا وَذُرِّيَّةً وَمَا كَانَ لِرَسُولٍ أَنْ يَأْتِيَ بِآيَةٍ إِلَّا بِإِذْنِ اللَّهِ لِكُلِّ أَجَلٍ كِتَابٌ – سوره ۱۳: الرعد – جزء ۱۳ : آیه 38

38: And certainly we sent apostles before you and gave them wives and children, and it is not in “the power of” an apostle to bring a sign except by Allah’s permission; for every term there is an appointment.

Surah XXIX the Spider “ANKABUT” Verses 46

وَلَا تُجَادِلُوا أَهْلَ الْكِتَابِ إِلَّا بِالَّتِي هِيَ أَحْسَنُ إِلَّا الَّذِينَ ظَلَمُوا مِنْهُمْ وَقُولُوا آمَنَّا بِالَّذِي أُنْزِلَ إِلَيْنَا وَأُنْزِلَ إِلَيْكُمْ وَإِلَهُنَا وَإِلَهُكُمْ وَاحِدٌ وَنَحْنُ لَهُ مُسْلِمُونَ – سوره ۲۹: العنكبوت – جزء ۲۱ : آیه 46

46: and do not dispute with the followers of the book except by what is best, except those of them who act unjustly, and say: we believe in that which has been revealed to us and revealed to you, and our God and your God is one, and to him do we submit.
